Today I am linking up for Positive Thinking - a new link-up from Mrs. Laffin's Laughings:
Growing up my father constantly said this quote to me so often that I thought he invented the saying:
Of course, when I was younger, I said and did many things without thinking of others' feelings. Now I can appreciate the full meaning of this thought. Plus, it's a great reminder when I say or think something mean that I need to stop judging others - easier said than done - right?
It is a positive thought that I should say to myself more often - especially now that I'm writing it in my blog.
Plus, my car - a 2005 Honda Pilot - is very important today since it's costing $2500 to do all the maintenance - brakes,.... - "nothing mechanical, all maintenance." Luckily, I have a 15% off coupon so it's "only" costing $2100 - still cheaper than buying a new car. See how nice I am to my car - I'm paying all this money, and I can already hear my father saying, "Why don't you go buy a new car? Stop wasting your money...."
Do we ever stop quoting our parents?
Happy Good Friday!
