Our Music teacher, Ms. Newman, put together a magnificent assembly in which the kindergarten, first and second graders sang.
My favorite song was "My Country T'is of Thee."
Our Morning Meeting theme of the week was butterflies. I forgot to take pictures of my messages, but I'll post them next time.
We started a new round of centers. Here's a picture of the telling time center:
In this center, the kids had to match up the analog clock to the digital time.
Now that my computer is up and running, I can create one of my Morning Messages on the whiteboard:
However, my eleven year old car decided to act up by not starting. The first AAA truck determined it was not the battery so he called for a flatbed tow truck:
The good news - my car has a new starter that will hopefully last for as long as I have my car!
