Science Poems in Morning Messages

We've started learning about the states of matter, and I found these great poems to include in my Morning Messages:

Fabulous Flamingo Birthday Cake

My soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Kaylee, made this amazing and delicious birthday cake for my birthday:

The feathers and the flamingo neck/head were edible, too!  Kaylee's quite talented when it comes to baking!

My Autumn Themed Splint

I've graduated from my cast to this seasonal splint:

Last Friday I took the day off to tend to my wrist.  Now I'll be going to occupational therapy for the next 4 weeks!

Happy Hump Day!

  2. Happy birthday, and congratulations on getting your cast off! I must be behind in my blog reading, because I missed the story about HOW you ended up in cast. I'll have to go back and read your older posts. Kaylee is talented. I've pinned your morning message. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Hi Jan. No big story on the cast - just me making a poor choice at school with less than one hour left of my room being 100 percent ready. I learned a valuable lesson - don't stand on tables, especially tables with wheels - unless you make sure the wheels are locked. (I might have left those details out of the original story, but I'm sure you'll understand!) Loving this weather lately?
